Mr. and Mrs. Bennie A. Ditonto Sr. of Lakewood recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner party at La Scala Restaurant hosted by their children and their families, Ben Jr. and Sandra Ditonto of Warren, Pa., and Guy A. and Ellen Ditonto of Jamestown. Guests attended from Jamestown, Dunkirk, Warren, and Pittsburgh.
Mr. Ditonto retired from Dowcraft in 1987 and Mrs. Ditonto, the former Nellie Scala, was employed by Jones Tasty Baking.
The couple were married on June 28, 1952 in St. John R.C. Church, Jamestown with Father Bellario officiating. In addition to their two sons, the couple has six grandchildren.
