On July 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff Deputies will be conducting a Child Passenger Safety Seat Check at the Gerry Rodeo Grounds in Gerry. This event is to assist in inspection, selection and installment of child safety seats. There will be no traffic tickets issued at this event.
Chadwick Bay Regional Development Corp. meeting
The next meeting of the Chadwick Bay RDC will be held on Thursday, July 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Tri County Country Club located on Route 39 outside Forestville. The member host is the Town of Hanover.
The agenda will include reports from the Regional Water Implementation Plan Lead Consultant and Financial Consultant.
All meetings are open to the public and citizens may address the Board during the privilege of the floor portion of the agenda.

Free lunch program in Forestville Monday
The free summer lunch program will run from July 9 to Aug. 10 Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Forestville Central School Elementary Cafeteria to any child under the age of 18. There are no income requirements or registration. Children do not have to be a resident of the district to attend.
