Genevieve J. Mleczko, 83, of Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk, NY died Sunday (July 8, 2012) at the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk.
She was born in Dunkirk, NY on May 8, 1929, the daughter of the late Karol and Katherine (Skura) Mleczko.
A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Genevieve was a member of Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish - St. Hyacinth's Church and the parish's Holy Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Tuesday and Wednesday Senior Citizens Group.

Genevieve enjoyed going to casinos, watching wrestling, Sabres hockey and the Buffalo Bills. She especially enjoyed being with
her grand nieces, Rylee and Emersyn.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Dworak and Nancy (John) Woloszyn; her sister-in-law Bernice Mleczko; her much loved
nieces and nephews, Charlotte (Tom) McDonnell, Karla (Joe) Strefeler, Keith Mleczko, Tom (Dana Berry) Mleczko, David (Pat)
Mleczko, Michael (Lori) Mleczko, Patrick (Patti) Mleczko, Gary (Kristen) Pleva, Sharon (Brian) Kornacki and Debbie Kuzma; her great nieces and great nephews, Godson Jason McDonnell, T.J. McDonnell, Dana Ahlstrom, Danyel Rizzuto, Michael Mleczko
Jr., Lisa Mleczko, Zachary, Josh and Luke Mleczko, Kayla, Sarah and Adam Pleva, Kristen and Jennifer Kuzma, Noel and P.J. Kornacki.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Josephine Kuzma and Dorothy Pleva; three brothers, Frank, Alfred and Anthony Mleczko; her nephew, James Kuzma; and niece, Linda Coonradt.
Funeral services will be held this morning at 9:15 from the Newman Funeral Home Inc., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at
10 o'clock in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish - St. Hyacinth's Church. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery.
