Katherine Lea Higham and John David Drayo, both of Fredonia, were married Nov. 12, 2011 at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown, Ohio.
The Rev. John Keehner officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Richard and Karen Higham of Poland, Ohio, and the son of Samuel Drayo, Jr. of Fredonia and Susan and Leonard Star of Hudson, Ohio. A reception followed at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The bride wore an ivory silk organza strapless gown featuring flower and lace embellishments, a sculpted neckline, and a chapel train.

Jessica Schmitt, the bride's friend, was matron of honor. She wore charcoal gray, as did the bridesmaids: Kristie Drayo, sister-in-law of the groom; Susan Cook, aunt of the bride; Caitlin Leja, cousin of the groom; Emily Smith and Kim Cannon.
Michael Drayo, the groom's brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Benjamin Higham, Craig Higham, Matthew Higham, Jack Higham, all brothers of the bride; and Thomas Schmitt. Joshua Grant, nephew of the groom, was a junior groomsman. Henry Drayo, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The bride is a benefits manager with Cott Beverages in Dunkirk. She earned a bachelor's degree in integrated language arts from Ohio University.
The groom is an attorney with Drayo Law Office in Fredonia, after earning a bachelor's degree from SUNY at Buffalo and a juris doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law.
The couple honeymooned in Antigua. They are living in Fredonia.
