Patricia A. "Pat" Ohl, 66, of 92 Sturges St. James-town, passed away at 6:20 a.m. Thursday (July 12, 2012) in her home following a lengthy illness, with her loving husband and son by her side.
A lifelong area resident, she was born October 2, 1945 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Jerome Harry and Helen Miller Domst.
Mrs. Ohl was a 1963 graduate of Jamestown High School and also a graduate of Jamestown Community College.

Before her retirement she was employed by the Cummins Engine Company for several years. In earlier years she had worked for the former Quality Markets and for several doctors' of-fices in the Jamestown area.
She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and was a long time active member of the Jamestown Babe Ruth World Series Committee serving as co-chairman of the host family division for many years.
She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She will also be remembered for her kind hospitality and for making every-one feel welcome not only in her home but also to the Jamestown area.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald P. Ohl, whom she married October 5, 1968; a son, Anders Ohl, two grandchildren, Marley Ohl, Ryan Ohl, all of Jamestown; a brother, Ronald (Nancy) Domst of Abingdon, VA; a sister-in-law, Diane (Ron) Seighman of Placentia, CA; her nieces and nephews, Dr. James (Faith) Domst of Mt. Angel, OR, Janelle (Mike) Bange of Elsberry, MO, Cherrie (Ed) Duran, Cindy Williams, Cathy Seighman all of Placentia, CA. She also had a special place in her heart for her great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her father who died May 17, 1983 and her mother, who died October 2, 1985, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law E. Carolyn Domst who died January 7, 1992.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Apostles Parish, SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led by Rev. Mende at 1:45 p.m. Monday.
