Music in the Park in South Dayton
Music in the Park will be held on Wednesday, July 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the South Dayton Village Park Gazebo. The music will be by Wallace and Farina. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and come enjoy an evening of music. The summer music project is sponsored by the town of Dayton, the town of Villenova, the village of South Dayton and the New York State Council of the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program administered by the Cattaraugus Arts Council.
Hanover rabies clinic July 21
The Town of Hanover and Just Pets will sponsor a free rabies clinic Saturday, July 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the town highway building on Hanover Road. Forestville Animal Clinic vets will administer rabies vaccines for area pets.
Call to artists for upcoming art show
Holiday on the Hill is currently accepting applications for the upcoming 2012 show. This year the show will be held Nov. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Girl Scout Council Office, 2661 Horton Road, Jamestown. There are limited openings for distinctive handmade items in a variety of artistic mediums. Items are displayed in a unique boutique style and vendors are not required to be in attendance.
