Six teens charged
in Jamestown brawl
JAMESTOWN - A large fight with about 50 people gathered on the 400 block of West Fourth Street led to six Jamestown teens being charged by the Jamestown Police Department Tuesday.
City police report that once they arrived on the scene, it was determined that a female had been assaulted by as many as six people. Officers located the suspects, who were still at the incident, and placed them under arrest.
Facing charges are Amber L. Mancari, 19, for third-degree assault; a 16-year-old male with sixth-degree conspiracy; two 16-year-old females with third-degree assault; and two 15-year-old females who were identified as participating in the assault and will likely be petitioned to Family Court.

Anthony B. West, 35, of Maple Avenue was charged with disorderly conduct on July 11.
Santos I. Santiago, 37, of West Second Street was charged with failure to yield the right of way for an emergency vehicles and unlicensed operation on July 14.
Margaret A. Velez, 29, of Main Street was charged with speeding and unlicensed operation on July 15.
Douglas L. Lockett, 40, of West Lucas Avenue was charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a cell phone on July 15.
Luis A. Valentin, 38, of Central Avenue was charged with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment July 15.
Devin Smith, 20, of Middle Road was charged with second-degree harassment on July 16.
Jose A. Vazquez, 37, of East Talcott Street was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on July 16.
Fred E. Devel, 20, of Richford was charged with passing through a red light on July 16.
Joel I. Rosario, 30, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny July 16.
Nelson X. Irizarry, 22, of Deer Street was charged with having no inspection, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having a back seat passenger less than four years old without proper restraint on July 16.
Donte M. Chambers, 19, of Deer Street was charged with parking where signs prohibit, unlawful possession of alcohol under 21 and having an open container on July 16.

HANOVER - State police charged a Dunkirk man with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Nicholas Bailey, 21, was stopped for speeding on Routes 5 and 20. Officers reported he had a marijuana cigarette in plain view.
Bailey was issued tickets for Town of Hanover Court.
Dunkirk woman charged with forgery and impersonation
The victim alleged Oste had used the victim's name on at least two traffic stops since April. The victim received letters in the mail notifying her that her license was going to be suspended for failure to respond to traffic tickets.
The investigation revealed that Oste had identified herself as the victim when a trooper pulled her over on Route 60 in Gerry on April 1 and on April 13. Oste reportedly did this to avoid detection since her driver's license had been suspended multiple times. Oste also signed the victim's name to the Town of Gerry Ticket when she mailed it into court.
Troopers took Oste into custody at her residence in Dunkirk and transported her to state police headquarters in Fredonia. After processed for the violations, she was arraigned in the Town of Dunkirk Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

KIANTONE - On Friday, Juan Pinto, 27, of Buffalo was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
A trooper pulled Pinto over on Route 60 for a traffic violation. The trooper reportedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle and conducted a search. The trooper reported finding three grams of marijuana.
Pinto was issued an appearance ticket.
BEMUS POINT - On Friday, Cody Hinson, 23, of Greenhurst was charged with third-degree assault.
On Thursday, troopers received a complaint from the victim whose injuries included a broken nose and a bone fracture under the left eye, reportedly as a result of being struck in the face by Hinson while on the ground outside the Village Casino. Hinson was processed at state police barracks and was issued an appearance ticket.
