Three local gardens and a winery will be part of the 2012 National Garden Festival, a Buffalo-based festival held over five weeks.
On Thursday, a bus tour will visit the Burton's Breezewood Gardens in Stockton. Breezewood is billed as "one of the best perennial gardens in the region" featuring unusual perennials and shrubs, beautiful stone work and a British style vegetable garden.
Also featured as part of the festival is Ran Lydell's Eagle Bay Hosta Garden and the Lord family garden in Forestville featuring rare trees and roses.
The Breezewood Garden will be open for visitors on Thursday afternoon. Call 673-6860 for times and directions.
