An event that took the place of Victorian Dazzle Days in Fredonia is, as they say, history for its inaugural season.
Fredonia History Days turned back time over the weekend for many - and spotlighted events that played a large role in the region over the past 200 years. Even Rochester resident Brenden Garney realized how much our past means to residents here.
"Coming to this town, the best part is while some places don't really show interest in the historical aspect, Fredonia is different," said the member of Cushing's battery who took part in the enactment. "People here stop, they talk and they're interested in the history."
Applause for all, including organizer Todd Langworthy, who made the event happen.
