On Saturday, Aug. 11, the descendants of Thomas Blodgett, who came from England in 1835 and arrived in Boston on the ship "Increase," will hold their 138th reunion. The reunion will be held at the Chautauqua County Fireman's Picnic Grounds, Stockton.

The reunion starts at noon with a pot-luck dinner at 1 p.m. There will also be conversation, games for the young and not-so-young, and a chance to meet old friends and possibly some long-lost relatives.

All are asked to bring a dish to pass, a cold beverage and table service. Coffee will be provided.

Family members are also asked to bring any old family photos or other family memorabilia to share, as well as a favorite recipe for the Family cookbook.
