First Baptist Church to hold VBS

Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Dunkirk will feature the theme called "Amazing Wonders Aviation." Children ages 4 through teens and adults will fly to some of the world's most beautiful natural wonders.

This special event will be held beginning Monday through Friday, July 30 through Aug. 30, starting at 6 p.m. each night at First Baptist Church, 876 Central Ave. in Dunkirk.

The motto for this VBS theme is, "Awesome God! Amazing Power!" The VBS Scripture is Psalm 147:5, "Our Lord is great, vast in power; His understanding is infinite."

Children will encounter God's awesome power as they fly to some of the world's greatest natural wonder. Along the way they will hear Bible stories about God's awesome power and learn how God wants to give everything that is needed through His power and to His glory.

There will be exciting music, crafts and games. For the adults there will be a special Bible study of the Book of Jonah taught by George Pilgrim.

For further information, phone the church at 366-6634 or 397-0211.
