EAST OTTO - Joseph Bach, 19, of Sky Ranch Road was charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree harassment on July 11. Bach was charged from an incident that took place in October. A female victim reportedly went to Bach's home to meet with him after the two had been texting each other for a short period of time after meeting on Facebook. The victim brought a friend with her to the meeting, upsetting Bach who had requested she come alone. The victim did agree to give a ride to Bach to Springville from his home that evening. While she was driving, he started texting the victim making threats to her that he would put a gun to the back of her head in the texts. Upset, the victim drove to Country Fair in Springville and told Bach to exit the vehicle. While he was getting out, he showed the victim a black handgun. Bach was processed at the Collins barracks and arraigned in Springville Village Court.
GOWANDA - James Williamson, 23, of North Tonawanda was charged with driving while intoxicated on July 14 following a one car accident. Troopers were patrolling in the area of Point Peter Road and saw Williamson's car hit a guide rail while leaving Zoar Valley but were not able to stop him. Williamson's car was eventually spotted and stopped in the McDonald's parking lot on Route 39. Williamson was processed at the Collins barracks with a reportable BAC of .17. He is due back in Persia Town Court.
GOWANDA - Kathleen Dawson, 34, of Niagara Falls was charged with driving while intoxicated on July 15. Troopers stopped Dawson on Buffalo Street Ext. after a 911 call reported her car operating erratically. She was subsequently found to be intoxicated and processed at the Collins barracks with a reportable BAC of .14.
