Ripley to hold annual book sale Saturday
The annual book sale at Ripley Free Library on Saturday. Doors will open at 9 a.m. The library is located on Route 20, at 64 West Main St., Ripley.
BCS board meeting site, time changed
The location and time of the regularly scheduled Brocton Central School Board of Education meeting Thursday have changed. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Westfield Academy and Central School High School auditorium. Brocton and Westfield Boards of Education will begin by interviewing two firms that are candidates for conducting the consolidation study. After the interviews, the Brocton Board of Education meeting will follow with a limited agenda of some general business items to be acted upon.
St. Luke's annual Youth Rummage Sale set for Friday and Saturday
St. Luke's Episcopal Church will hold the 4th Annual Youth Rummage Sale on Friday and Saturday from 9 to 5 p.m. each day in the Undercroft area of the church located on the corner of 4th and Main Streets in Jamestown. The event is scheduled each year in conjunction with Lucyfest and all proceeds from the fundraiser will go to help cover the costs of the teen youth pilgrimage trip scheduled for next summer. Shoppers will be able to choose from many different affordably priced types of items both large and small. During the final two hours of the rummage sale prices will drop tremendously on any remaining items.
