Raymond D. VanDette of West Seneca, entered into rest July 30, 2012.
Mr. VanDette was a former elementary music teacher in the Sweet Home School District.
He was the devoted father of Eugene (Carol), Roger, Marie and Andrew (Vicki) VanDette; cherished grandfather of Joy, Arthur, Alison and Nicholas; loving son of the late Louis and Adelia (nee Petrella) VanDette; dear brother of the late Ernie, Albert, Anna, Thomas, Richard, Rose, Josephine and Michael; former husband and friend to Shirleyann; also survived by relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Road near Lake Avenue on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1345 Indian Church Road, West Seneca on Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock. (Please assemble at church).
