Helen S. Wincenciak, 81, of Dunkirk, died Tuesday morning, July 31, 2012, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, Pa.
She was born May 15, 1931, in Arkwright, daughter of the late Leo and Catherine (Watik) Schilling.
Mrs. Wincenciak was a past employee of J.C. Penney, the former M. Wiles, Greater Buffalo Press and also worked as a dog groomer at home.

She was a member of Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig.
Helen loved country music, flowers, animals, her vegetable garden and singing in the church choir.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Daniel J. "Baldy" Wincenciak, whom she married June 28, 1958; daughters Linda (Everett) Enos of Russell, PA., Lynette (Robert) Dix of Portland; sisters Anne (Ray) Pauszek of Dunkirk, Katherine Reading of Sheridan, Mary (William "Bill") Kawski of Dunkirk; brother Benjamin (Mary Lou) Schilling of Arkwright; 5 grandchildren Daniel Lambe, Tracy Schulenberg, Holly Spoon, Laralyn Whitesell, Joshua Eppinger, seven great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded by parents and son Tab Wincenciak, who died October 15, 1994; sister Bernice Grupa; brother Lawrence Schelling.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 11:30 in Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
