Jeannette C. Niedbalski, 73, of Dunkirk, passed away on Saturday, June 16, at Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa.
She was born October 6, 1938, in Nancy, France, the daughter of Eleanore (Glowacki) and Stephan (Zyznowski).
Mrs. Niedbalski retired from the Dunkirk County Home. She was a member of the Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig, the parish Rosary Society and attended St. Hyacinth's and the Dunkirk Senior Citizens.

Jeannette appreciated all the simple things in life. She enjoyed her retirement, traveling, and visiting family. She said her life was one of no regrets.
Family members include husband Julian Niedbalski of Dunkirk; two daughters (and their spouses), Suzanne (Michael) Sosinski Hoeft of Waynesboro, Virginia; Helen (David) Sosinski Bartlett of Kansas City, Kansas; a son Edward (Margo) Sosinski of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren Mark Latiolais, Jordan Bartlett, Jessica Bartlett, and Robbie Sosinski; and two great grandchildren, Madison and Brady.
It was Mrs. Niedbalski's wish there be no public viewing or visitation.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 3, at Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig, in Dunkirk.
Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk.
