The OBSERVER

The Brocton Central School Class of 1977 recently held its 35th class reunion at 21 Brix Winery, Portland. The class members were welcomed by the reunion committee and each put their name in for the three door prize drawings consisting of products from local communities which included maple syrups, honey, concord grape juice, wine, cheese cake mixes, wine jelly, candles, candies and pottery. A variety of hors d'oeuvres prepared by the reunion committee was served as classmates were able to visit along with wine tasting. Tammy Panek-Winder gave a blessing before dinner which was catered by La Casa D' Mangia and it included carve stations of prime rib and roasted turkey along with pasta primavera, baby red potatoes, salad and roll. Classmates were treated after dinner to an array of desserts also prepared by the reunion committee.
