Roy and Janice Myers celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary recently at a family dinner held at Prioetti's Restaurant and later at their daughter's home in Webster. They were married on June 24, 1972 at St. Anthony's Church in Fredonia, with the Rev. Thomas Carlesimo officiating.
Janice is the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Leone. Roy is the son of the late Carrie and Robert Myers.
Bridal attendants included Marilyn Gehner, Patricia Szczerbacki, Kathi Anderson and Robin Muscato. Groomsman were Robert Myers, Joseph Stehn, Richard Laughner and William Westin. Frank Leone and John Myers served as ushers.

Mr. Myers is a project specialist at the Nestle Purina Petcare Company in Dunkirk. Mrs. Myers is retired from the Fredonia Central School District and is a wedding and special event consultant and coordinator.
The couple have two children, Lisa Mathewson and Cheryl Rauls, both residents of Webster. They have two grandchildren, Brendan and Katie Mathewson.
