Town of Dunkirk Planning Board workshop Thursday
The Town of Dunkirk Planning Board has scheduled a workshop for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the town hall, 4737 Willow Road.
The purpose of the workshop is to continue review of site plans for the proposed Dunkirk Meadows Multi Use project.

The Town of Portland Board will hold a workshop with the assessor to discuss reval issues on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Portland Town Hall.
Foster Family Picnic Thursday in Stockton
As part of ongoing efforts to recruit new foster and adoptive parents and to retain those foster/adoptive parents already certified, the Department of Social Services will hold its second annual Foster Family Picnic Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Stockton Fireman's Grounds.
Current foster/adoptive parents will be honored and there will be an orientation session for prospective foster/adoptive parents who have been invited through multiple sources, including staff, community partners and current foster/adoptive parents.
There will be food, games, prizes and raffles. It is hoped this event will also give prospective foster/adoptive parents a unique opportunity to interact with current foster/adoptive parents as well as strengthening connections among the current foster/adoptive parents.
Donations of prizes, gift certificates, food or other items that would contribute to the success of this event are welcomed.
