Cheers to a growing industry!
Last weekend, residents and visitors toasted the wine industry in New York state by attending the fifth annual America's Grape Country Wine Festival. While thousands took part purchasing crafts, foods and sampling wine, hundreds more took in the Sean Patrick McGraw and Guess Who concerts on Saturday evening.
In all, organizers believe the event this year attracted a great number of people.
"We're at a record this year," said Mike Ferguson, festival spokesman.
Our grapes are some of the greatest in the world. This festival, once again, has succeeded in showcasing the fruit and a number of area gems.
