William H. "Bill" "Wagon Wheel" Roberts, age 74, of Sheridan, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at home with his family and friends present. He was born May 26,

1938, in Jamestown, son of the late Howard and Alice Mae (Wang) Roberts Jr. and a retired employee of Red Wing Corporation in Fredonia as a truck driver.

Life member of the National Rifle Association, Bill was an avid fisherman, and hunter who had hunted in most of the 50 states. He also enjoyed traveling,

spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and watching the New York Yankees. Surviving are his children Teresa (Michael) Borzilleri of Florida, Kenneth

(Gena) Caffoe and Julie (Dwight) Nicholson both of Arkansas; daughter-in-law Katie Roberts of Sheridan; brother of Howard Roberts III of Cassadaga and Michael (Linda)

Roberts of Pleasant Garden, NC.; grandchildren Branden Caffoe, Alexis and Berkeley Roberts, Andrew Borzilleri, Joshua and Jennifer Nicholson, expected grandson Jeffery Borzilleri, former wife Judy Hall, several nieces, nephews and cousins along with many, many special friends, including John Swanson, also survive. Preceded in addition to

his parents is a son Jeffery Roberts and grandson Justin Nicholson. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Bill's life will be held Sunday afternoon, September

23, at 3 p.m. at 3323 Route 20, Sheridan, NY. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk.
