Richard A. Battaglia, age 58, of Dunkirk, NY has gone to meet his Lord. He went peacefully on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was the son of the late Dominic Battaglia and the
late Laura (Cinelli) Battaglia. Rick's greatest pride and joy was his daughter, Lexee. A 1972 graduate of Fredonia High School, he was an independent contractor
for many years. Rick was an avid Giants fan and loved football. He will be sadly missed by those he left behind. Survivors include his daughter, Alexandra Battaglia; two brothers, Dominic (Marlene) Battaglia Jr. and Frank Battaglia; two sisters, Cynthia (Kevin) Frost and Wendy (Robert) Barlette; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Zalacca will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's
Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday three hours prior to the service from 4-7 p.m.
