Twenty years ago - 1992

The Vietnam "Moving Wall" will be on display this summer at the Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse and Veterans Park Museum, 1 Lighthouse Point Drive, until Aug. 25. The wall is a half-scale replica of the original in Washington, D.C., and contains all the names of the men and women of the Vietnam War who were killed or are missing. There is no fee to visit the wall which may be viewed 24 hours a day.

Thirty years ago - 1982

Richelle and Renae Titus, accompanied by other family members, participated in the seventh annual Twins Days festivities in Twinsburg, Ohio this past weekend. The 548 sets of twins registered enjoyed the parades, games and look-alike contests, twin talent shows and continuous musical entertainment.

Forty years ago - 1972

An organizational meeting for a new snowmobile club being formed in the area was held at the Fredonia home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Christy. Mooney Harrington was named president of the group, to be known as the Lakeview Sno-Riders.

Fifty years ago - 1962

Miss Charlotte Travis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Travis, 140 Mill St., Brocton was recently chosen "1962 Queen of the Bureau of Yards and Docks" of the Navy Department in Washington, D.C.
