Wednesday Women's Golf League - The league hosted a "Golf for a Cure" tournament recently. Member and guest enjoyed a Chinese auction and dinner. More than $3,500 was raised and donated to Roswell Park Cancer Institute to help funding for a cure for breast cancer. Mixed couples first place was awarded to the team of Roos and Mangine. Women's team first place was awarded to Kaus, Allessi and Nichols. Area businesses contributed generous prizes for the Chinese auction and sponsored holes to benefit the tournament.
