The 2012 Fredonia State women's lacrosse team is one of 61 NCAA Division III programs to receive academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association.
The ILWCA, in a press release posted earlier this week, cited the Blue Devils among its list of 2012 Academic Squads. Teams carrying a cumulative 3.0 grade-point average or higher were recognized.
In addition to being among the 61 teams honored in the entire division, the Blue Devils were also among the 16 NCAA Tournament teams on the list.
