"Disappointed" after building purchase

August 24, 2012
The OBSERVER

Editor, OBSERVER:

I would like to respond to the recent articles in regard to a building I purchased in Brocton. I don't believe that anyone has access to my bank account information. Therefore, how can Village Board members state that I do not have the means to do or not do something?

I feel like all these articles are making me out to be the scapegoat in this matter. I never asked the fine people of Brocton to bail me out, I was trying to help them out. They seem to think they can get a grant for the building and that I was only trying to do the right thing. Shame on me.

In closing I am deeply disappointed in my dealing with a majority of the so-called friendly help-your-neighbor people of Northern Chautauqua County.
