Master Sergeant Jennifer L. Brooks recently retired after serving in the United States Air Force for 20 years. She was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
She is a 1992 graduate of Falconer High School and the daughter of Steven and Pauline Pryll, formerly of Falconer, now living in Kentucky. She is the granddaughter of Veronica Ginley and Leonard Pryll of Dunkirk.
Friends and colleagues gathered on Aug. 3 to celebrate Brooks at her retirement ceremony. The ceremony took place at the 72D Medical Group, Tinker AFB, Okla. Parents, husband retired MSgt Joseph Brooks and daughters Alexis and Amber were in attendance.

Throughout her career Brooks relocated to several assignments. She was stationed at Travis AFB, Calif.; Pope AFB, N.C.; Misawa AB, Japan, and finished her career at Tinker AFB, Okla.
During the ceremony, Brooks was recognized for her many achievements while serving: 1998, 75 Fighter Squadron Support Outstanding Performer, June; 1999, 13 Fighter Squadron, "Eldridge" Maintainer of the Month, October; 2000, NCO of the Year 35 Logistics Support Squadron, Misawa AB Japan; 2000, Education and Training Manager of the Year, Cat III-B, Misawa AB Japan; 2003, NCO of the Year 72 Communication Squadron, Tinker AFB, Okla.; 2004, Education and Training Manager of the Year, Cat III-B, Tinker AFB, Okla.; 2004, AFMC Education & Training Manager of the Year, Cat III-B; 2006, NCO of the Year, 72 Medical Group, Tinker AFB, Okla.; 2006, Education and Training Manager of the Year, Cat III-B, Tinker AFB, Okla.; 2006, AFMC Education and Training Manager of the Year, Cat III-B; 2006, Oklahoma Medal of Merit, AFA Gerrity Chapter; 2008, Education and Training Manager of the Year, Cat III-B, Tinker AFB, Okla.; 2008, AFMC Education and Training Manager of the Year, Cat III-B; 2009, AFNNSDO Outstanding Enlisted Educator.
During her USAF career, Brooks completed college and graduate school. She obtained two AAS degrees, a BS in organizational leadership in 2006 and went on to complete a master of business administration with a concentration in human resource management in 2008. Future plans include a doctorate program.
MSgt Brooks plans to stay in Oklahoma and settle in the Oklahoma City metro with her family.
