Community’s help appreciated

August 28, 2012
The OBSERVER

Editor, OBSERVER:

On Tuesday evening, Aug. 14, my Roadmaster overheated and stopped at Main Street and Millard Filmore Drive. Two police officers stopped and provided phone assistance to AAA. While waiting for about an hour, more than two dozen people and another Dunkirk police officer stopped to offer help.

I offer my appreciation and thank you to those who tried to help. It shows that many people in our community are kind and thoughtful. Thank you.

WAYNE YUNGHANS,

Fredonia
