Possible animal cruelty under investigation

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible animal cruelty case after receiving a report of a dog found hanging from a bridge on the Underwood Road in the town of Hinsdale. The animal is described as a male, possibly terrier or terrier mix, with a brown face, black back and brown legs. The dog's weight is approximately 20 to 25 pounds. The dog was wearing a camouflage collar when it was found. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 938-9191.
