Ingersoll family holds 37th reunion

LITTLE VALLEY - The 37th Cora and Tilden Ingersoll reunion was recently held and hosted by the Leland Ingersoll family at the community Park in Little Valley.

There were 36 family members and five guests in attendance. Lawrence Ingersoll said a prayer before picnic lunch. A business meeting and a new president, Marilyn Butcher, and vice president, Ab Butcher, were elected. Secretary and treasurer reports were read by Pat Bromley. There was one death, two marriage and three births. The oldest member was Butcher and the youngest was Sophia Merrill.

Kids enjoyed games by Kevin and Kristen Merrill and swimming. A white elephant was conducted by Steed Merrill for adults and children.

The 38th reunion for 2013 will be Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at the South Dayton playground and will be hosted by the Janet Butcher family.

Webber family reunites

FORESTVILLE - There were 70 family members and seven guests recently attending the 36th annual Webber family reunion.

It was hosted by Fred and Temple Webber and family of Forestville, and was held at the Perrysburg Conservation Club in Perrysburg.

Prizes were awarded to: the youngest child, Bella Webber of West Valley; Cindy Shook, who traveled the farthest from Michigan; and Cathey and James Bock, whose anniversary was closest to the reunion date.

Two marriages and one death during the past year were recognized and recorded. Fred Webber of Forestville and Nancy Gage Smith of Mayville were reelected president and secretary/treasurer. Next year's reunion will be hosted by Jennifer Emke of Perrysburg.
