September 3, 2012
The OBSERVER

BROCTON - The Brocton Central School Class of 1962 recently held a 50th reunion celebration with an informal dinner Friday, and events, school tour and dinner with all classes of Brocton Central School at the American Legion in Brocton on Saturday.

Members of the Class of 1962, attended from several areas of New York, Florida, Pennsylvania and Oregon. The loss of several classmates since the 40th reunion and the sharing of old and new adventures in classmates' lives made the weekend a truly sad and joyous event. It really put into perspective the adage "time marches on."

As class members dispersed to their home locations, rumor had it a Florida reunion of classmates was in the works for this coming winter. The BCS class of 1962 would like thank the BCS Alumni Organization for its outstanding work on the school reunion and offer a special congratulations to Marmaduke creator Brad Anderson on his 70th anniversary. Thanks are extended to fellow classmates who helped to make this event happen.
