Outhouse races

September 5, 2012
The OBSERVER

The Valley Historical Society will have a new event at the 14th annual Sinclairville History Fair on Saturday. For the first time this year the society will feature Outhouse Races on Lester Street at 3:30 p.m. Contestants will race specially built outhouses on wheels in side by side racing action. Each outhouse will have three pusher/pullers and one "driver" on the "throne." Contestants have constructed outhouses with different themes and designs for the races. Anyone wishing to join in the fun can contact Larry Dorman, race chairman, at 962-2253 for a copy of the rules. Dorman is shown with the "Dorman Dumper."
