WESTFIELD - Emily Ludwig's five kills lifted the Fredonia Lady Hillbillies (1-3) to their first win of the season with a 25-19, 25-22-25-21 decision over Westfield (0-1) on Thursday in non-league girls' high school volleyball action.
Alyssa Crespo contributed in the win with five kills and as many aces and Maddi Crandall had nine assists and three kills in the win. Lea Richin charted five aces in the win.
For Westfield, Madison Mathews had five kills and Jenn LaPorte finished with four aces and as many assists in defeat. Mackenzie DeLand recorded five aces in a losing effort.

NORTH COLLINS - Christine Blidy's five kills, 15 assists and seven aces lifted the North Collins Lady Eagles to a 25-15, 25-12, 25-8 Division 4 girls' high school volleyball victory Thursday over the Brocton Lady Bulldogs (0-1).
Arrika Bley added six kills in the win.
The Lady Bulldogs were paced by Kayla Peting's four assists.
