A collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle sent one to the hospital Wednesday morning.
At 11:54 a.m. Kyle T. Kimmerly, 26, of Townsend Street was stopped at the stop sign on East Seventh Street waiting to turn left on to Central Avenue. According to police, Kimmerly said he saw a motorcycle operated by Nathan J. Sackett, 34, of Taft Place following behind a vehicle which was turning right on to East Seventh Street. Kimmerly stated he thought he had the right of way but the motorcycle went around the vehicle turning. Sackett's motorcycle collided with Kimmerly's vehicle. Sackett's motorcycle was towed from the scene and he was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital. Kimmerly was charged with failure to yield at stop sign.
