Mr. and Mrs. David (Michelle) Mandery

Michelle Lynn Swackhammer and David Kenneth Mandery of Rochester were united in marriage on June 2, 2012, at the Grandview in Ellington. The Right Rev. Ian Adkins officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by master of ceremony Dan Warren. Mistress of ceremony was Debbie Carpenter.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Barbara Swackhammer of Jamestown. The groom is the son of Janet Mandery and the late Kenneth Mandery of Rochester.

The bride wore a Forever Yours, ivory, strapless, tapered A-line with a mushroom pleated bodice. Venice lace with silver embroidery highlighted with pearls and sequins. The back of the dress was accented with buttons and a chapel train. Her attire was completed with a blusher veil of lace and flowers.

Serving as maid of honor was Jillian Busch. Bridesmaids were Quinn Kimmel, Erinn Wiers-Swackhammer and Heidi Himes. The flower girl was Madison Mandery.

Serving as best man was Michael Mandery. Groomsmen were William Williams, Steven Swackhammer and George Scobie-Bartlett. The ring bearers were Chad Mandery and Tanner Mandery.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2012 graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a master of science degree in education. She is a substitute teacher in Monroe County.

Her husband is a graduate from the University of Rochester with a master of science degree in information systems management. He is employed by maxIT Healthcare as a senior consultant.

The couple honeymooned in Alaska on a land tour and cruise. They are living in Rochester.
