SINCLAIRVILLE - One person is dead following a two-car motor vehicle accident near Cassadaga Valley Central School.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reported that on Sunday at 3:30 p.m., a vehicle driven by James F. Bush, 87, of 27 Linwood St in Celoron, crossed over the Route 60 center line and struck a vehicle driven by Sarah A. Ficarro, 21, of Day Hollow Road in Owego.
Investigation determined that Bush had suffered a medical emergency prior to the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the vehicles involved in a fatal accident on Route 60 is loaded onto the back of a truck Sunday afternoon near Cassadaga Valley Central School.
"He apparently died before his car drifted across the road," said Doug Goodwill first assistant chief of the Sinclairville Fire Department who was in charge at the scene.
Ficarro was taken to WCA hospital by the Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Department for minor injuries and is expected to be released.
Chautauqua County Fire Police directed traffic around the accident by using Moon Road. Route 60 was reopened at about 5 p.m. The Gerry Fire Department assisted, and the New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Team assisted with the investigation.
