The Fredonia First United Methodist Church will be hosting the ALPHA Course starting on Monday, Sept. 24. This 10-week course begins at 5:30 p.m. with a light supper. A video and small group discussions follow with conclusion at 8:30 p.m. There is no fee and all are welcome.
ALPHA is for anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Wonderful fellowship, laughter and learning all in a relaxed setting. Child care will be provided for families who need to bring their children. ALPHA is a place where no question is seen as too simple or too hostile.
A series of talks on topics such as: "Who Is Jesus?" "Why did Jesus die?" "Why and how do I pray?" "Why and how should I read the Bible?" "How can I resist evil? "Does God heal today?" will be talked about each week. This course has been offered around the world to millions of people. All are welcome to attend and see what it is all about.
