FALCONER - Alyssa Brooks and Shannon Gunnell were the standouts as Falconer (2-0, 3-1) took Dunkirk (0-2, 1-2), 25-17, 25-27, 25-10, 25-21, in CCAA Division 1 girls' volleyball.
Brooks recorded 14 kills and four aces and Gunnell 13 kills and four aces while Mikalia Haveron added 32 digs and three aces and Kaylynn Swanson 38 assists for the Lady Golden Falcons.
For Dunkirk, Lacey Clark had two kills, eight digs, 13 assists and a block, Khee Nance nine kills, four aces, nine digs and a block, Sarah Shanlin six kills, 12 digs, three blocks and two assists and Alexis Clark four kills, five digs, three blocks and an ace.
Falconer (2-0, 4-0) stopped Dunkirk (0-2, 0-3), 25-10, 25-11, 25-7, in the junior varsity match.
Gowanda sweeps Jamestown
GOWANDA - The Gowanda Lady Panthers (2-1) stormed by Jamestown, 25-20, 25-20, 25-15, Friday in a CCAA Division 1 girls' volleyball tilt.
Jenn Steibens led the way with six kills, four aces and an assist. Lexi Farner and Markie John each had three kills while Emma Weyand handed out eight assists.
Jamestown was paced by Crisanna Green's five kills and Ashley Butman's six digs.
Gowanda takes to the road today to play in the Sweet Home Invitational Tournament.

SINCLAIRVILLE - Shawana Miller had 12 kills and two aces and Brita Howe six kills as Cassadaga Valley (1-3, 2-4) dropped Silver Creek (0-5, 0-5), in Division 2 girls' volleyball on Friday.
Jordan Brooks recorded three kills and seven blocks and Mary Williams five kills and five aces in defeat.
Silver Creek won the junior varsity match.
Division 3
Pine Valley falls late to Clymer
CLYMER -Pine Valley (2-2) was able to hang with Clymer (3-2) for five sets, but the Lady Pirates took the final game and the match, Friday in CCAA Division 3 girls' volleyball.
Kayla Mansfield led Pine Valley with seven kills, 11 assists and a pair of blocks, but the Lady Panthers fell 18-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-17, 25-8.
Also for Pine Valley, Alex Bentham was able to swat four aces and collect six assists, Ahleen Pollock recorded 23 assists and four digs, Aaren Waterman was stout with five blocks and Aleah Fancher added six digs.
Clymer was paced by Jo-Linda Rhodes, who had 32 service points, five aces, 16 assists and a kill. Dani Reinwald added 18 kills, four digs and five blocks.
Pine Valley won the jayvee contest 16-25, 23-25, 25-16.
Division 4
Maple?Grove edges Brocton
BROCTON - Kyoko Inagaki's eight service points, four kills and two blocks were not enough as the Brocton Lady Bulldogs (1-3) fell to the Maple Grove Lady Red Dragons (1-5), 25-11, 15-25, 25-16, 25-13 Friday in CCAA Division 4 girls' high school volleyball.
Jess Putcher added nine service points in a losing effort.
The Lady Red Dragons were led by Sierra Speranza's seven assists, four aces and five digs. Taylor Satalino charted six kills, eight digs and five aces for the winners.
