The Cardinal Mindszenty High School Class of 1957 recently held its 55th reunion. Classmates gathered at the Knights of Columbus on Friday for a mixer party. The Saturday afternoon gathering consisted of a picnic which was also at the Knights of Columbus. The evening consisted of an informal dinner, preceded by cocktails.
The invocation was given by the Rev. Stanley Fedyszyn and a moment of silence was observed for deceased members of the class. Photo albums of school pictures and past reunions were on display along with a cake decorated in the school colors, purple and gold.
Committee members included Jim Strychalski, Marie Ganey, John Sullivan, Stan Ozga, Peter Komada and Robert Lanski. The Mindszenty school banner was generously provided by the Dunkirk Historical Museum.
