FORESTVILLE - Sydney Youngberg and Cherish Pope had stellar games in leading the Forestville Lady Hornets (4-1, 7-1) past the Pine Valley Lady Panthers (2-3, 3-5), 25-6, 25-12, 25-14, Tuesday in CCAA Division 3 girls' high school volleyball.
Pope had three kills, two digs and eight aces while Youngberg charted seven kills, one block and six aces. Emily Gilman finished with two kills, one block and four aces, and Alisha Szumigala tallied three kills and two blocks for the winners. Also for Forestville, Ryanne Dugan had 19 assists and Bayleigh Raynor had two kills.
"We played excellent at North Collins on Monday and it carried over (Tuesday)," Forestville coach Jack Dugan said. "We have played two complete games. I am pleased with our overall team effort."
The Lady Panthers' Laural Killock, Kayla Mansfield and Aaren Waterman combined for 11 kills. Waterman also had three kills and four blocks while Aleah Fancher had four digs in a losing effort.
Forestville won the jayvee match.
Forestville looks to avenge an early season loss on Thursday when it travels to Chautauqua Lake.

BROCTON - Kyoko Inagaki's 13 service points, two aces and two kills were not enough as the Brocton Lady Bulldogs (1-7, 1-6) fell to the West Valley Lady Panthers, 18-25, 18-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-12.
Tory Harper added four kills, two blocks and eight service points in a losing effort.
West Valley was led by Rachelle Cizesiel's 26 points, five aces and three kills.
