Music series to be held at 21 Brix Saturday

September 27, 2012
The OBSERVER

PORTLAND - 21 Brix Winery is pleased to announce the beginning of their Music Series at the winery. After a crazy week of work, sit back and relax with a delicious glass of wine and listen to some music. This Saturday the winery will be featuring the music of Tommy Dawes on alto sax from 7 to 9 p.m.

Tommy Dawes, who first learned to play alto saxophone in Las Vegas, has been playing for over 20 years. In the past decade he has played at various locations throughout the county and has received rave reviews for his musical talent.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, some picnic food and a friend! If the weather is too chilly, Mr. Dawes will be setting up indoors. This event is free, but a wine purchase is required, so enjoy a glass of wine or sip a slushie as you relax. The winery offers a wide selection of wines including several new dry reds, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Blaufrankisch as well as a variety of white wines, including Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Cayuga. Signature Ella, the Elephant series wines, are also available.

21 Brix Winery will be hosting musicians the last Saturday of every month so mark your calendar. Check out the website for a list of upcoming events, as well as to find out who will be the featured musicians in the coming months at www.21brix.com.

The winery is located at 6654 West Main Road/Route 20, Portland, 716-792-2749. Look for the pink elephant!
