Reilly Condidorio scored in the 72nd minute as Fredonia State rallied to tie Buffalo State, 1-1, in SUNYAC women's soccer.
Condidorio's penalty goal - one of her 13 shots in the game - countered Buffalo State's Gabrianna Boldinski, who converted a header off a corner kick by Meaghan Allen in the 29th minute.
"We felt at that point, we needed to put a leader in there and who is comfortable at PK," Fredonia State coach Chris Case said. "We have relied on Reilly in the past and we feel comfortable with her taking a PK in that situation."
Fredonia State's Meaghan Meszaros made three saves while Linda Banfield made 12 stops for Buffalo State. Each was credited with 110 minutes played in the double-overtime contest.
The Blue Devils (6-2-1 overall, 1-1-1 SUNYAC) dropped the penalty kick portion of the match, 4-2, used for post-season seeding purposes only.
"In the first overtime, Katie Klein beat a defender and was taken out in the box and the refs failed to call a penalty kick," Case noted. "It would have given us a chance, but the refs didn't see it as a foul which was unfortunate for our team."
