Sinclairville boil water order lifted

September 29, 2012
The OBSERVER

SINCLAIRVILLE - The Chautauqua County Health Department announced Friday that the boil water order in effect since Sept. 25 for all customers served by the village of Sinclairville water supply is now lifted. Water samples collected on Sept. 26 and 27 show that the water is safe to drink.

The village had a major water main leak on Sept. 25 that was repaired the same day but due to a loss in pressure, a boil water order was placed into effect by the Health Department as a precaution.

The village and county would like to thank all village water customers for their cooperation and patience while the boil water order was in effect.

Any questions should be directed to Sinclairville Mayor Kenneth France at 962-9455 or the Chautauqua County Health Department at 1-866-604-6789.
