These students at Forestville Middle/High School are voting in a mock presidential election using the optical scanner and printed ballots. The effort is a partnership between the County Board of Elections and the non-partisan Chautauqua County League of Women Voters. Eleven schools will participate in mock elections. The last one will be conducted in Jamestown on Oct. 26. The LWV is providing personnel to assist the students without cost to the Board of Elections or the schools.
