Fellowship Church holds baptism for new members

September 29, 2012
The OBSERVER

BROCTON - During the summer, six people were baptized and welcomed into membership at the Fellowship Church's annual picnic at the home of Charlie and Bev Burton. As each of these people committed their lives to Jesus Christ, they also expressed a desire to grow in their Christian walk as they became members of the Fellowship Church. The right hand of fellowship was extended to each one by all members present.

On a recent Sunday, following the church service, two young men chose to be baptized by immersion in a backyard pool. There are several more who will join them in a membership covenant to become members of the church.

October is evangelism month. Pastor Sandi Ball will open this crusade on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. at the church. The theme for this crusade is "A burden for souls." The group will be meeting each Thursday evening at 7 p.m. for prayer at 86 Central Ave. in the "God-room" in Brocton. All are invited to be a part of this spiritual preparation for the crusade.
