Nativity 5, Northern Chautauqua Catholic 4 - For the second time this season, the Monarchs (4-2) lost a late lead to Nativity, of Orchard Park, giving up four runs and committing three errors in the fifth inning.
The Monarchs out-hit Nativity, 8-2, with Noah Fleckenstein (three hits) and Charlie Roth (two hits) leading the way. Bryan Dempsey drove in three runs on a bases-clearing double.
Fleckenstein and Barnes shared the pitching duties in the loss, which dropped the Monarchs out of first place.

Waxy Cup Golf Tournament
There will be a final meeting today at 7 p.m. at the Dunkirk Falcon Club for all golfers planning to go to Southern Pines, NC to play in the finals of the Waxy Cup Tournament. The final travel arrangements will be made and programs with courses and tee times for the week will be given out. All remaining fees will also be collected.
