GREAT VALLEY - One of the owners of Pumpkinville, Cattaraugus County's largest fall tourist attraction has been given a prestigious honor.
Diane Pawlowski was named a Woman of Influence by Buffalo Business First. Diane was acknowledged in the Creativity category which recognizes women who solve problems in the office and enrich the lives and careers of others by sharing the benefits of experience and knowledge.
In 1996, Diane and her husband Dan took over Pumpkinville making it more of an entertainment destination for families wanting to do something on a fall afternoon. Along with their children Lisa and Jim, they combined their creativity with hard work to grow Pumpkinville into the regional tourist attraction it is today. More than 100,000 people visit Pumpkinville during their six-week season each year.
