PINE VALLEY - Jenna Einink had 15 kills, three blocks and seven aces as the undefeated Chautauqua Lake lady Thunderbirds (9-0, 8-0) defeated the Pine Valley Lady Panthers, (4-7, 3-5) 25-16, 25-14, 28-26, Thursday in CCAA Division 3 girls' high school volleyball.
Ashton Albanesius added five kills and seven digs while Tara Hunt finished with nine assists and six aces for the winners. Katie Meadows contributed in the win with 11 assists.
The Lady Panthers were led by Kayla Mansfield's four kills and Kayce Abers' two blocks and two aces. Alex Bentham finished with three kills and two aces in a losing effort.
Pine Valley returns to action today when it hosts Clymer.

PANAMA - Sydney Youngberg had two aces, 14 kills, seven blocks and three digs as the Forestville Lady Hornets (5-2, 9-2) swept the Panama Lady Panthers (4-4, 6-5), 25-12, 25-21, 25-15, Thursday in CCAA Division 3 girls' high school volleyball.
Ryanne Dugan 21 assists and five digs. Alisha Szumigala finished with six kills and Cherish Pope had two aces, three digs and seven digs for the winners. Emily Gilman had three kills and two digs for the winners.
The Lady Panthers were led by Brittany Lenart's five kills and Crystal Swanson's three kills and one dig.

AMHERST - Lake Shore (7-0, 9-3) remained unbeaten in ECIC Division 2 boys high school volleyball with a sweep of Sweet Home, Thursday.
Ryan Joslyn had seven kills and five aces as the Eagles breezed to wins of 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.
Billy Pinter added eight kills and three aces and Connor Govenettio was good for six kills and 10 digs.
Lake Shore has off until Wednesday, when it hosts Williamsville East.
