Concord Spellbinders Toastmasters Club is having a series of three open houses starting on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. in the English Reading Room (Fenton 127) SUNY College at Fredonia.
The evening will feature two speakers: Felicia Kreuzer on the Titanic and Karen Aubrecht on "Share a Spark."
Felicia Kreuzer is the Contracts' Administrator at Moog in East Aurora. She is especially interested in the role wireless played in saving the lives of Titanic passengers. She and her husband have collected different kinds of wireless apparatus for the past 37 years. They provided the equipment for the Titanic wireless room display in the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri. This museum is the largest museum devoted to the Titanic. She has also been a member of Toastmasters for 8 years.

Karen Aubrecht is a freelance writer, journalist and workshop presenter. She worked as a news reporter for five years with the East Aurora Advertiser.
She has spoken internationally and given workshops in both Canada and the U.S. Her most popular workshop "Take the Stage," shows how to use gestures and movement to improve your next presentation.
She received Toastmas-ters highest award the "Distinguished Toastmas-ter" in 2010. A mother of three, she has been a Toastmaster for nine years.
Toastmasters Inter-national is an organization that helps promote communications and leadership skills in a friendly environment where people learn from each other as well as from materials supplied. The Concord Spellbinders is its local branch in Dunkirk/Fredonia.
Additional open houses featuring speakers from outside the club will be held on Oct. 24 and Nov. 14. More details to follow. All are welcome.
