Editor, OBSERVER:
We've heard the figures bandied about that we would get for the sale of the Chautauqua County Home, but there are some other figures we would be interested to know.
1. How much did the building cost to erect?
2. How much is the value of all the equipment (beds, wheelchairs, desks, tables, chairs, etc.)?
3. What will the assessment of the property be?
4. How much will be paid in taxes?
5. How much was invested in drilling for the gas well that is being utilized?
6. How much will the county be paying out to cover costs for people whose funds have been depleted?
All of these figures are important, too.
